Angel was born on the south side of Chicago and grew up in Riverdale, IL. Demoiselle 2 Femme, NFP showed up at Thornton High School at the absolute perfect time in her life. Through her involvement as both a Demoiselle and a staff member in D2F, Angel learned about the connections shared among women from all over the world, fostering a sense of community. During high school, she led young women's discussion groups and bible studies and continued her studies in Women's Ministry and Communications at Moody Bible Institute for college. Angel’s passion for the beauty industry propelled her to attain her License of Hair Braiding at Amazon Natural Look Academy, where she honed her skills and became a master braider. Angel has worked with women and girls all over the world, including her first celebrity client, Amanda Seales, for the Smart Funny and Black Tour in Chicago 2018. She enjoys bringing girls and women together to share knowledge about entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment. Angel and her family have relocated to a suburb south of Atlanta, GA, to explore more entrepreneurial opportunities and experiences. While maintaining her roles as a wife and mother of two daughters, Angel continues to expand her career within the beauty industry as an international educator and mentor. She emphasizes the importance of listening to understand and assess the needs of today's girls in order to be of genuine influence. Her belief is that they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. She believes that the standard for beauty must begin from within.
