Cheron Z. Mims is an associate in the Private Equity & M&A practices at Paul Hastings, LLP. Cheron also has experience in Intellectual Property litigation with the International Trade Commission. Cheron earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, with a concentration in business enterprise and served as an articles editor for the law school’s Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Having supported the completion of multi-million dollar transactions and corporpoate governance, Cheron’s robust legal experience with start-ups, privately held and public companies aids in her ability to contribute a unique perspective to the board and aid in D2F’s continued organizational success. Prior to attending law school, Cheron graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and a Brady Scholar certificate in Ethics and Civic Life. Cheron’s commitment to serving the next generation of girls in her community stems not only from her personal journey to success, but also her understanding of the increased necessity to provide support systems to produce alternative outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our society. Cheron looks forward to carrying out the collective mission and vision this organization to her fullest abilities while serving as a member this board.
