Margaret Mead said it best: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed it is the only thing that ever has.”
The vast experience and diversity among Demoiselle 2 Femme, NFP and its collaborative partners demonstrate a grassroots network of organizations committed to addressing issues faced by Chicago youth. Through strategic planning and community organizing Demoiselle 2 Femme (D2F) serves as the convening organization of the South Side Coalition on Urban Girls (SSCUG) and Partnership for a Better Roseland. The success of D2F is due largely to our partnerships with over 60 community and faith-based institutions; colleges and universities; city, state and federal agencies; municipalities; civic leaders and officials; community residents and youth. Our overarching goal for building partnerships is to create a synergy amongst leaders and providers which evolves into a social force of positive social change.
