Dr. Amber Mason brings over 15 years of professional experience in education, research, and program evaluation. She received her BA in Economics from Spelman College, a MS in Education from Quincy University, and a Post-Masters Certification in Program Evaluation at Georgia State University. In 2019, she received her PhD in Educational Policy Studies with a concentration in Research, Measurement, and Statistics from Georgia State University. Her professional efforts seek to champion the importance of good research and evaluation practices. Further, her work seeks to strengthen the effectiveness of data utilization in mission-driven organizations. At the center of her work, she advocates for those groups who have traditionally been marginalized and misrepresented in public narratives. Also, in consideration for the societal pressures that confront our young girls and women daily, Dr. Mason is committed to supporting efforts that help encourage positive self-esteem, scholastic achievement, and community involvement for young women.
