Joslyn is a Chicago native and a proud product of Chicago Public Schools. After graduating from Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, she attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to receive her bachelor's and master's degrees in agriculture education. Joslyn later received her Learning Behavior Specialist 1 certification from North Park University. Working with children in multiple disciplines is her purpose. In addition to her years of teaching in the classroom, Joslyn has taught tennis and coached cheerleading to elementary school-level students, coached high school track and field, and currently enjoys seeing the Alpha Chapter Demoiselles grow into amazing young ladies. Joslyn has a passion for reading and traveling and believes that these are two of the greatest adventures someone can have. She is in constant awe, wonder, and excitement at where her purpose and passion lead her as well as how they continue to put the next generation of girls and young ladies in her path. Joslyn’s desire is to impart knowledge of history while illuminating a path to a brighter future, enabling women to reach greater heights, explore farther horizons, and grow together across generations.
