DEVELOPMENT
At an immersive level, we research, learn, design, collaborate, share and apply approaches that will develop sustainable change in the lives of girls and young women. We believe change at this level will break through socio-economic barriers and cascade into homes and communities across our nation and world – as we yet embrace our mantra that “girls are the birth canals to our communities.”
WHAT WE DO
At D2F girls are challenged and equipped to take their rightful place as 21st Century servant leaders – armed with critical thinking, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication skills.
Girls at D2F join a rich organizational legacy which spans across generations where daughters are now following in the footsteps of their mothers! Our leaders, staff and mentors are socially and spiritually conscious women who are committed to empowering girls to thrive both now and in the future.
